Who is behind CryptoTrades?

CryptoTrades.to is a pseudonymous group of crypto specialists active in the market since 2015. The group focuses on Bitcoin, exchange products, market structure and custody risk, and includes a trader with 15 years of market experience. Team members remain anonymous because connecting public identities to cryptocurrency activity and holdings can create personal-security risks.

Why we use a group identity

Publicly connecting personal identities to cryptocurrency activity can create security risks. We therefore publish under a stable group identity while making our methods, evidence and commercial relationships visible.

Several members of the group are Bitcoin maximalists. That view is disclosed because readers should know the perspective behind the work, but it does not determine exchange scores or factual comparisons.

Reviews separate first-party account tests from desk research. Changing facts carry verification dates, affiliate relationships are disclosed, and untested claims are marked rather than estimated. Staying pseudonymous does not lower the evidence standard.
