Affiliate disclosure
CryptoTrades earns a commission when a reader opens an account with some of the exchanges listed here. This page names which ones and states plainly what the money does not buy.
How it works
An affiliate link carries a code identifying us. If you open an account through one and trade, the exchange pays us a share of the fees you generate. It costs you nothing extra, and in some cases the same link carries a fee discount that is better than signing up directly.
Every one of those links on this site is marked up as a sponsored link for search engines, which is a requirement we implement in code rather than remembering page by page.

These are reviewed and ranked on exactly the same basis.
What the commission does not buy
- A rating. Scores come from the criteria set out in the methodology.
- A position in a ranked list. Order follows the measurement named in the heading.
- Removal of a criticism. If a venue has a payout problem, the review says so.
- Editorial approval. No exchange sees a review before it publishes.
Why disclose at all
Because a reader deciding where to put money is entitled to know how the site making the recommendation is paid. It is also a legal requirement in most of the markets we are read in, and hiding it would make everything else on the site harder to believe.
