What your coins are worth right now

Type what you hold. Every position is valued against our composite price, weighted by volume across every USD-quoted market we track, so one venue printing wide cannot move your total. No account, no exchange keys, no read access to anything you own.

Average cost is optional. Without it there is no profit and loss line, only value.

Get the value sent to you

Connecting uploads your symbols and amounts so the bot can value them. Until you connect, this page keeps them in your browser and sends nothing. In the chat, /portfolio returns the current value, and /portfolio clear deletes everything we hold.

Not connected. Your holdings stay in this browser.

How the value is worked out

Each position is amount times our composite price. The composite is the volume-weighted mean of every USD-quoted spot market we track for that asset, with prints more than five percent away from the volume-weighted median discarded before the average is taken.

value = amount x composite price
allocation = position value / portfolio value
24h change = value now - value at the price 24 hours ago
profit and loss = (composite price - your average cost) x amount

A worked example

You hold 0.25 BTC bought at an average of 62,000 dollars, and 4 ETH with no cost recorded. At a composite of 80,000 and 3,000 dollars, the BTC position is worth 20,000 dollars and the ETH position 12,000, so the portfolio is 32,000 dollars and BTC is 62.5 percent of it. The profit and loss line counts only the BTC position, because it is the only one with a cost: 80,000 minus 62,000, times 0.25, is 4,500 dollars.

The mistake this catches

Most people check a portfolio by adding up what each coin is worth on the venue they bought it. That mixes prices from different books, and on a thin market the difference is larger than the day's move. Valuing everything against one composite is what makes two positions comparable, and it is why the allocation column can be trusted enough to rebalance against. Check the cross-venue dispersion on a coin page before you act on a thin one.

Questions people actually ask

01Is a crypto portfolio tracker safe to use without connecting an exchange?

Yes, and it is the safer way to do it. This tracker never asks for an exchange key, a wallet address or a login. You type the amounts you hold, and the page multiplies them by our current price. There is no permission for anyone to trade or withdraw, because there is no connection to an account in the first place.

02Where does the portfolio value come from?

Every holding is valued with our composite price: one dollar price per asset, volume weighted across every USD-quoted market we track, with outlying prints discarded. One venue printing high or low cannot move your total on its own.

03Does my portfolio leave the browser?

Only if you connect Telegram. Until then the holdings are stored in this browser and nothing is uploaded. Connecting Telegram uploads the symbols and amounts, because the bot cannot value a portfolio it has never seen. Sending /portfolio clear in the chat deletes them again.

04How is the 24 hour change calculated?

Each holding is valued now and at its price 24 hours ago, and the two totals are compared. A portfolio can therefore be down while a coin in it is up, which is exactly what the allocation column is there to explain.

05What happens to a coin you do not price?

It is listed separately as not valued and left out of the total. A tracker that quietly values a position at zero shows a total that looks right and is wrong, which is worse than showing nothing.

06Can the Telegram bot send the portfolio value automatically?

Yes. Send /portfolio daily 8 for a summary every day at 08:00 UTC, and /portfolio alerts 5 to be messaged whenever the portfolio moves five percent or more over 24 hours. Move alerts are sent at most once every twelve hours.
