Litecoin (LTC) to USD converter
Use the calculator above to convert Litecoin (LTC) into US dollars or another supported fiat currency. The LTC leg follows our live multi-exchange composite; fiat values use dated reference rates and are identified separately.
LTC to USD is the most searched Litecoin conversion. The rate here is not one exchange's price: it is our composite of every dollar-quoted LTC market we track, so it sits in the middle of what the exchanges are quoting right now.
Enter any amount above, or read the fixed amounts in the tables below. Both update with the live price.

How is the Litecoin conversion calculated?
We multiply the entered LTC amount by our current USD composite. For currencies other than USD, that result is multiplied by the displayed USD reference rate. Exchange fees, card charges, spreads and slippage are not included, so an actual buy or sale can settle at a different amount.
LTC to USD or LTC to USDT: is there a difference?
In practice the difference is usually a fraction of a cent per dollar. Most Litecoin volume trades against USDT and USDC, stablecoins built to hold one US dollar, and only a small share trades against actual dollars.
Our composite includes USD, USDT, USDC and the other dollar stablecoins we track. If one of them lost its dollar peg, that market's price would move away from the others and show up in the cross-venue spread instead of quietly shifting the average.
Why the LTC to USD rate differs between exchanges
Each exchange has its own buyers, sellers and order book, so each prints its own Litecoin price. In our minute-by-minute measurement the gap between exchanges averaged about 0.06 percent, roughly two and a half times what we measure on Bitcoin, and it rarely went above half a percent.
On a small conversion that gap is noise. On a large one it is money: at 0.06 percent, selling $50,000 of LTC on the wrong venue costs about $30 before fees. The Litecoin price page lists every venue's price side by side.
What affects the LTC to USD rate
Supply and demand on the exchanges, and above all the wider crypto market. In our composite, Litecoin's hourly moves were about twice the size of Bitcoin's and correlated with them at about 0.5, so a sharp Bitcoin move tends to show up in the LTC rate in the same hour.
The 24-hour high, low and change above show how far the rate has moved today, and the gap between exchanges shows how much the venues disagree right now.
What you actually receive when you sell LTC for dollars
The converter shows the market value. What reaches your account is that value minus the exchange's trading fee, minus any fiat withdrawal fee, and minus slippage if your order is large enough to move the price.
Worked example: selling 10 LTC at $75 is worth $750. A 0.1 percent spot trading fee takes $0.75, leaving $749.25 before any withdrawal charge. Our fee comparison lists the current spot fees venue by venue.
How much is 1 LTC worth?
One LTC is currently worth $55.71 on our composite. The value and both conversion tables update after the page loads when fresh composite prices arrive.
Litecoin converter questions
01How much is 100 LTC in USD?
100 LTC is worth 100 times the current LTC price. The conversion table above shows the live value of 100 LTC, calculated from our composite across every exchange we track.
02Is LTC a stable coin?
No. Litecoin's price moves freely with the market, often by several percent in a day. Stablecoins such as USDT and USDC are designed to hold one US dollar; LTC is not.
03Will Litecoin reach $1000?
We do not forecast prices. For scale: $1,000 per LTC would be more than double Litecoin's all-time high of about $410, a level it has not come close to since.
04Does LTC have a future?
Nobody can promise that. What can be measured is that Litecoin is one of the oldest cryptocurrencies still running, still produces a block about every 2.5 minutes, and is listed on every exchange we track with enough volume to price it continuously.
