Cosmos (ATOM) to USD converter
Use the calculator above to convert Cosmos (ATOM) into US dollars or another supported fiat currency. The ATOM leg follows our live multi-exchange composite; fiat values use dated reference rates and are identified separately.
ATOM to USD converts Cosmos into dollars at our composite rate: every dollar-quoted ATOM market we track, weighted by volume, rather than one exchange's price.
Enter any amount above, or read the fixed amounts in the tables below. Both update with the live price.

How is the Cosmos conversion calculated?
We multiply the entered ATOM amount by our current USD composite. For currencies other than USD, that result is multiplied by the displayed USD reference rate. Exchange fees, card charges, spreads and slippage are not included, so an actual buy or sale can settle at a different amount.
ATOM the Cosmos token
"Cosmos" is also a flower and "atom" a physics term, and both crowd the same searches. This converter prices ATOM, the Cosmos Hub token, only.
Why the ATOM to USD rate differs between exchanges
In our minute-by-minute measurement the gap between the highest and lowest venue averaged about 0.15 percent, about six times Bitcoin's, and it went above half a percent in about nine minutes out of every thousand. At its widest it reached about 1.1 percent.
On a large conversion the venue matters. The Cosmos price page lists every venue's price side by side.
ATOM to USD or ATOM to USDT: is there a difference?
Usually a fraction of a cent per dollar. Most ATOM volume trades against the stablecoins USDT and USDC rather than actual dollars. Our composite includes USD and the dollar stablecoins we track, so a stablecoin losing its peg would appear as cross-venue spread rather than quietly moving the rate.
What affects the ATOM to USD rate
Supply and demand across the exchanges, and the wider crypto market. In our hourly composite ATOM moved with Bitcoin at a correlation of about 0.43 and its moves were about two and a half times the size of Bitcoin's.
The 24-hour high, low and change above show how far the rate has moved today. The gap between exchanges shows how much the venues disagree right now.
What you actually receive when you sell ATOM for dollars
The converter shows market value. What reaches your bank is that value minus the trading fee, any fiat withdrawal fee, and slippage on a large order.
Worked example: selling 500 ATOM at $2 is worth $1,000. A 0.1 percent spot fee takes $1, leaving $999 before withdrawal charges.
How much is 1 ATOM worth?
One ATOM is currently worth $1.51 on our composite. The value and both conversion tables update after the page loads when fresh composite prices arrive.
Cosmos converter questions
01How much ATOM can I buy for $1?
Divide $1 by the ATOM price. At $2 per ATOM, $1 buys about 0.50 ATOM before fees. Most exchanges set a minimum order above $1.
02How much is 1 ATOM in USD?
The converter above shows the live value of 1 ATOM, calculated from our composite across the exchanges we track.
