NEAR Protocol (NEAR) to USD converter
Use the calculator above to convert NEAR Protocol (NEAR) into US dollars or another supported fiat currency. The NEAR leg follows our live multi-exchange composite; fiat values use dated reference rates and are identified separately.
NEAR to USD converts NEAR Protocol into dollars at our composite rate: every dollar-quoted NEAR market we track, weighted by volume, rather than one exchange's price.
Enter any amount above, or read the fixed amounts in the tables below. Both update with the live price.

How is the NEAR Protocol conversion calculated?
We multiply the entered NEAR amount by our current USD composite. For currencies other than USD, that result is multiplied by the displayed USD reference rate. Exchange fees, card charges, spreads and slippage are not included, so an actual buy or sale can settle at a different amount.
NEAR the coin
"Near" is also an everyday word, so searches for it return all kinds of results. This converter prices NEAR, the native coin of NEAR Protocol, only.
Why the NEAR to USD rate differs between exchanges
In our minute-by-minute measurement the gap between the highest and lowest venue averaged about 0.11 percent, more than four times Bitcoin's, and it went above half a percent in about 24 minutes out of every thousand. At its widest it reached about 3.1 percent.
On a large conversion the venue matters. The NEAR Protocol price page lists every venue's price side by side.
NEAR to USD or NEAR to USDT: is there a difference?
Usually a fraction of a cent per dollar. Most NEAR volume trades against the stablecoins USDT and USDC rather than actual dollars. Our composite includes USD and the dollar stablecoins we track, so a stablecoin losing its peg would appear as cross-venue spread rather than quietly moving the rate.
What affects the NEAR to USD rate
Supply and demand across the exchanges, and the wider crypto market. In our hourly composite NEAR moved with Bitcoin at a correlation of about 0.38 and its moves were about four times the size of Bitcoin's.
The 24-hour high, low and change above show how far the rate has moved today. The gap between exchanges shows how much the venues disagree right now.
What you actually receive when you sell NEAR for dollars
The converter shows market value. What reaches your bank is that value minus the trading fee, any fiat withdrawal fee, and slippage on a large order.
Worked example: selling 250 NEAR at $4 is worth $1,000. A 0.1 percent spot fee takes $1, leaving $999 before withdrawal charges.
How much is 1 NEAR worth?
One NEAR is currently worth $4.35 on our composite. The value and both conversion tables update after the page loads when fresh composite prices arrive.
NEAR Protocol converter questions
01How much NEAR can I buy for $1?
Divide $1 by the NEAR price. At $4 per NEAR, $1 buys about 0.25 NEAR before fees. Most exchanges set a minimum order above $1.
02How much is 1 NEAR in USD?
The converter above shows the live value of 1 NEAR, calculated from our composite across every exchange we track.
03What is NEAR USD?
NEAR/USD is the price of one NEAR Protocol coin in US dollars. Our rate combines the dollar and dollar-stablecoin markets we track.
04Does NEAR coin have a future?
Nobody can promise that. What can be measured is that NEAR is listed on every exchange we track with enough volume to price it continuously.
